Demons Throw the Best Parties, Lil' Killer, Insane Klown Posse. The Horrors of 1988.

Sometimes you really love a film that just is not that good. It has a weird memories attached to it and you really shouldn't love it as much as you do. That is Night of the Demons for me. Don't get me wrong, it's still a super fun horror film but there are way better spooky movies out there from 1988. This is kind of a wacky year. Lots of silly horror and weird stuff. Enough talk, let's get spooky.

1988

1. Night of the Demons (Directed by Kevin Tenney)
IMDB plot: Ten teenagers party at an abandoned funeral parlor on Halloween night. When an evil force awakens, demonic spirits keep them from leaving and turn their gathering into a living Hell.

2. Child's Play (Directed by Tom Holland)
IMDB plot: A single mother gives her son a much sought-after doll for his birthday, only to discover that it is possessed by the soul of a serial killer.

3. Killer Klowns from Outer Space (Directed by Stephen Chiodo)
IMDB plot: Aliens who look like clowns come from outer space and terrorize a small town.

Bonus Film!!! A backwoods demon (controlled by Lance Hendrickson) hunting down dumb city folk.
Pumpkinhead (Directed by Stan Winston)
IMDB plot: After a tragic accident, a man conjures up a towering, vengeful demon called Pumpkinhead to destroy a group of unsuspecting teenagers.

Then of course there is They Live and The Vanishing. Both films would top my list but I don't quite classify them as horror. Sci-Fi and Thriller in my book. Anyways, thanks creeps. See you tomorrow for 1989. xoxo
