Welcome to the 1980s spooksters. I have some gnarly treats for you that will totally barf you out. So The Shining is my favorite film. There, I've said it. I have probably watched it a hundred times. I like to just put it on when I'm doing the dishes or falling asleep. Yeah, I love it. I don't know what that says about me but there you go. Then you have one of my favorite film soundtracks ever in The Fog. Carpenter is such a genius. The score just elevates that film to amazingly spooky levels. So... at The WORLD HORROR CONVENTION in Seattle many years back a little old lady creeped up behind me and whispered in my ear "Kill her, mommy. Kill her." I whipped around a little freaked out and it was Betsy Palmer from Friday the 13th grinning back at me. We hugged and I said she was the coolest and we talked about her making the film. She was the raddest, sweetest person. RIP.

Alright creepos, now that we are in the 1980s there are so many good horror films that only listing my top three seems so unfair. So I may be adding bonus films to a lot of these years. More work for me but more spooky for you.
